Tru Community embraces an innovative approach to adult day services and vocational habilitation, fostering a hybrid learning environment that integrates community-based experiences with classroom learning.

Daily Living Skills

Assist the acquisition, retention, or improvement of daily living skills, including personal hygiene, cooking, and safety, to ensure an individual's ability to experience and participate in community living.

Self-advocacy Development

Assist individuals to develop self-advocacy skills, exercise his or her civil rights, and exercise responsibility over the services they receive.

Recreation Opportunities

Support individuals in cultivating and preserving social connections while enhancing their leisure skills through therapeutic recreation offerings like music and art therapies.

Prevocational Services

Helping our members achieve their goals through meaningful work-skill exercises and vocational training, including volunteer work. 

Community Involvement

Build community engagement and create opportunities for peer relationships and development of socialization skills.

Christ-centered Devotions

Raise every individual’s sense of purpose, value, and belonging through optional Bible-based devotions and music.
